Dmitry Kharatyan

In high school I became interested in sports, studied music and played in the school ensemble. In the movie he made his debut in Vladimir Menshov’s film "The Drawing" (1976), having got to the tests at Mosfilm as a matter of fact by accident - a familiar girl called him to the studio. But the director of all the applicants was Kharatyan who chose Igor Grushko to play the main role. The picture, which appeared on the screens in 1977, was greeted by the audience very warmly, the song of A. Flyarkovsky “When we leave the school yard” became very popular, and Dmitry Kharatyan gained all-Union fame. In 1982 he graduated from the Higher Theater School named after MS Schepkin (course of Mikhail Tsarev and Rimma Solntseva). In 1995, together with friends actress Marina Levtova and her husband, director Yury Moroz, opened the Kino club. Honored Artist of Russia (2000). People's Artist of Russia (27.06.2007).
