FIRSOVA JEMMA SERGEEVNA Actress, director of documentaries. She graduated from the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (1966, workshop A. Dovzhenko, M. Romma). While still a child, four years of war passed with her father. The children's impressions were so strong that all her further work was permeated by the patriotism of these years, the pain of loss and the joy of the Great Victory. In the late 70s - early 80s. worked in the USSR State Committee for Cinematography as chief editor of groups of military-patriotic feature films. Was President of the All-Union Federation of Women's Field Hockey. In the late 80s - early 90s. - Expert coordinator of programs for the preservation and development of Russian museums (Arkhangelsk, Abramtsevo, Pushkin Complex in St. Petersburg: Museum-Lyceum, Pushkin Museum-Apartment on the Moika, Contemporary Museum, etc.). After the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, she participated in the creation of the organization "Union Chernobyl". Subsequently, she was appointed head of the expert group for the immediate causes of the Chernobyl accident. Journalist on the problems of ecology, art, music critic; winner of the "Golden Pen".
