Series Partners for Justice (2018)

Story

Baek Beom has spent a decade examining the dead, and his sharp instincts have made him one of the most capable forensic doctors in his field. His expertise comes with a difficult manner: guarded, blunt, and reluctant to let anyone get close. When new cases demand answers that cannot be found through ordinary investigation, his work becomes central to uncovering the truth.

Eun Sol enters the prosecution service as a rookie with an open heart, an energetic personality, and a privileged family background. Her approach to justice differs from Baek Beom's austere discipline, creating tension as well as an unexpected professional partnership. Together, the forensic doctor and the young prosecutor investigate complex criminal cases, reading evidence, injuries, and human motives in a search for answers that may remain hidden at first glance.

Overview

Partners for Justice is a South Korean detective crime drama built around the meeting of forensic science and courtroom investigation. Each case brings Baek Beom and Eun Sol into contact with evidence that must be interpreted carefully, while their contrasting personalities shape the way they work together.

The series combines procedural mysteries with character-driven drama. Its atmosphere is focused and investigative, placing professional skill, persistence, and the pursuit of justice at the center of the story. Baek Beom's years of experience provide a disciplined counterpoint to Eun Sol's warmth and youthful determination, giving their partnership room to develop through disagreement, cooperation, and the demands of difficult cases.
