Story
During what should have been a routine pickup, an elderly Vietnamese cab driver is seized by three convicts who have recently escaped from custody in Orange County. Forced to remain behind the wheel, he becomes entangled in a tense flight shaped by fear, uncertainty, and the fragile balance between captor and captive. As the journey unfolds, the driver must navigate a perilous situation while the fugitives attempt to stay ahead of the authorities. Inspired by a true story, the film builds its suspense from an encounter that begins with an ordinary act of work and turns into a dangerous struggle for control.
The story places its characters in close quarters, allowing the crime thriller to explore the pressure of confinement and the shifting dynamics between people brought together under extreme circumstances. Its dramatic core comes from the driver's vulnerability and the presence of three desperate men whose escape has placed everyone around them at risk.

The confined premise supports a tense, character-driven atmosphere, with suspense emerging from the uncertainty of what the fugitives may do next and how long their control can last.
Directed by Josh Montes, this American production keeps its attention on the human stakes inside the escape: vulnerability, coercion, and the uneasy relationship formed between a hostage and the people holding him captive.
