Story
Broke follows a bronc rider confronting the collapse of the rodeo career that once defined his ambitions. Still refusing to accept that his best days may be behind him, he faces the consequences of a brain injury while a sudden blizzard places him in a fresh and immediate struggle for survival.
As the storm closes in, his physical battle becomes inseparable from a difficult reckoning with the dreams he pursued and the choices that shaped his life. The story combines the urgency of an action drama with a character-focused examination of denial, endurance, and the cost of holding on when the future no longer resembles the one he imagined.
Overview
Directed as a tense, grounded drama, Broke draws its atmosphere from the demanding world of professional rodeo and the unforgiving force of the natural elements. Its central conflict moves between the danger of the present and the personal history behind the rider's determination, giving the film a reflective emotional core alongside its survival-driven tension.
With action and drama at the forefront, the film brings together performers from the United States and an international production connected to Luxembourg, South Africa, and the USA. The setting and premise support a focused story about ambition, injury, and the difficult process of recognizing when a long-held dream has begun to slip away.
