Using SWEET.TV abroad

Does the subscription work abroad?

Yes — the subscription is fully active. Some content is available abroad, but the list of TV channels will be smaller than in Ukraine.

The full list of channels will be restored automatically when you return to Ukraine — no additional action is required.

How to watch Ukrainian TV channels abroad?

To access the full list of channels, you need an account registered in Ukraine.

If you already have an account, just sign in as usual.

If you don’t have an account, sign up using one of the two methods:

Method 1 — via a Ukrainian mobile network operator’s mobile data connection:

  1. Turn off Wi-Fi.
  2. Turn on mobile data from a Ukrainian carrier.
  3. Open the SWEET.TV website and select “Sign in” using your Ukrainian phone number.

Method 2 — via a connection with a Ukrainian IP address:

Connect to the internet via a network with a Ukrainian IP address and sign up on the SWEET.TV website or in the app.

Why are there fewer TV channels abroad?

SWEET.TV provides services based on its registration with the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting. All content is covered by appropriate agreements with rights holders.

Under the terms of these agreements, the content included in the subscription plan changes when accessed internationally — some TV channels and content are unavailable outside of Ukraine. This is a legal requirement of the agreements with rights holders, not a technical issue.
