After Carmen, a transgender woman, got her rhinoplasty from a fast-food type menu in Mexico, she later realised the errors of her actions. The operation she received made it difficult for her to breathe so in an effort to improve her health, she turns to Dr. Nassif for his help in fixing her collapsed nose. "You should not be ordering surgery off a menu" is the advice he offers, before giving Carmen the treatment she needs. The doctors also meet with Maria, a woman whose breasts were botched after she had reconstruction surgery following a double mastectomy. She needs their help for personal as well as cosmetic reasons, and after listening to stories about her family history, they do what they can to remedy the problems she has been experiencing. Later, Terry and Paul meet a UK patient who has travelled to the US to meet them. The woman wants to look faker than fake so the doctors deliberate on the best course of action.
