A new film by the authors of the film "Volunteers of the Heavenly Squad" - Leonid Kanter and Ivan Yasnyi - tells the story of the life and death of Vasyl Slipak, an opera singer with a world-renowned and unique voice. Vasyl was born in Lviv, but thanks to his unique voice, he won competition after competition and eventually moved to France, where he lived for 19 years. There, he had everything we are accustomed to calling "happiness": a name, a successful career on the world's opera stages, loyal friends, and love. He took an active part in the Revolution of Dignity, leading demonstrations in France, and later joined the volunteer movement, helping Ukraine. It seemed that he was doing more than enough, as a person of a creative profession. But Vasyl decided to leave the stage and career in Europe and join the ranks of volunteers when war came to his homeland. During a combat mission, Vasyl "Myth" Slipak was killed by a sniper's bullet.
