Alla Akhundova

Akhundova, Alla Nurievna - Soviet and Azerbaijani poetess, screenwriter, playwright, translator. Winner of the State Prize of the Azerbaijan SSR (1970), Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR. Akhundova Alla Nurievna was born in Moscow on October 27, 1939 in a family of employees. In 1964 she graduated from the Literary Institute. Gorky, and in 1967 - Higher Script Courses. Alla Akhundova’s first poems were published in the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper in 1957. Member of the Writers' Union of the USSR (1969), Union of Cinematographers of the USSR (1971).
