Valentin Bukin

Honored Artist of Russia (2003). Since childhood, he loved to draw and was considered the main artist in the classroom. He dreamed of entering the Irkutsk Art School, but once played the King in the school play "The Snow Queen" and "fell ill" with the theater. He studied at the Irkutsk Theater School. He was an actor of the Buryat Russian Theater in Ulan-Ude (1960–1961, 1965), the Smolensk Drama Theater (1971), the Skomorokh Theater, and the Belorussian Theater named after Y. Kupala (1973-1991), the Leningrad Theater of Comedy named after N. Akimov (1991-2000), the Bolshoi Drama Theater (BDT) them. G.A. Tovstonogov (2007-2013).
