Ada Rogovtseva

She graduated from the IK Karpenko-Kary Kyiv State Institute of Theater Arts (1959, K. Stepankov’s workshop). In 1959-1994 - actress of the National Academic Russian Drama Theater named after Lesia Ukrainka in Kiev. She was engaged in teaching activities - she taught at the Kiev Institute of Theater Art named after Karpenko-Kary; was a member of the Soviet Committee for the Defense of Peace, takes an active part in public life. The author of poetry collections, the Ukrainian “Mother's Prayer” and the Russian “Whole Your Voice”, wrote a book about her husband “My Kostya”. In the mid-90s, after leaving the Theater named after Lesia Ukrainka, she toured with concert programs. In 2007-2009, she was an actress at the Kiev State Academic Drama and Comedy Theater on the left bank of the Dnieper, where she was employed in the play Pink Bridge (directed by E. Stepankova) - Francesca Johnson. He actively acts in films, works in entrepreneurial performances in Moscow and Kiev. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1960), People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1967). People's Artist of the USSR (1978). Hero of Ukraine (2007). Member of the Television Academy of Arts of Ukraine (1997). It was the wife of actor Konstantin Stepankov (1928-2004), children: the son - director Konstantin (1962-2012), the daughter - actress and director Ekaterina (born in 1972).
