Vasily Livanov

Born July 19, 1935 in Moscow, in an actor's family. Merited Artist of the RSFSR (11/27/1981). People's Artist of the RSFSR (04/18/1988). His grandfather, Nikolai Livanov (stage pseudonym Izvolsky), was an actor at first provincial, then metropolitan theaters. The father, Boris Nikolaevich Livanov (1904-1972), is an outstanding actor who played about 40 roles in the Art Theater and 30 in the cinema. The Kachalov, Pasternak, Dovzhenko, Cherkasov, Tarkhanov, Konchalovsky were the regulars of the house of the Livanovs. He studied at the men's school number 170, then, from 1950 to 1954 - at the Moscow Art School. After graduating from the art school, he entered the BV Schukin Theater School. In addition to mastering the intricacies of acting, I tried my hand at directing - put on the studio stage "Three Fat Men" by Yuri Olesha (thesis) and designed the play itself. The music for the play was written by Gennady Gladkov - a classmate and a school partner, and in the future - a wonderful composer, co-author V. B. Livanov in many works in cinema, theater and animation.
