Ilya Zofin
In the early 90s he emigrated to Germany. Ilya Tsofin (1954) studied script / drama at the famous Gerasimov Film Institute (VGIK) in Moscow. In 1990, he came as a Jewish immigrant from the Soviet Union to Berlin. But as a screenwriter, he could not work at first. Having a lot of jobs, he fought over the water until he got the opportunity to work as managing director in a freight forwarding company. Later he himself founded two companies: the forwarding company NTZ GmbH and the trading company Isycon GmbH. After selling his first company in 2011, he returned to his real passion, writing scripts. Since then, he has written many scripts for various films and TV shows in Russian-speaking countries and founded the production company LM Media GmbH in 2012. Tsofin lives and works in Berlin.
