Nikolai Karachentsov

Merited Artist of the RSFSR (12/23/1977). People's Artist of the RSFSR (05/26/1989). Father, Peter Yakovlevich Karachentsov (1907-1998) worked for many years in the magazine Ogonek as a graphic artist, honored artist of the RSFSR (1967). Mother Yanina Evgenievna Brunak (1913-1998), choreographer and stage director, staged performances in major musical theaters. He was engaged in a school drama school at the Central House of Theater, which was led by Gennady Pechnikov and Valeria Minkovskaya. In 1967 he graduated with honors from the Moscow Art Theater School, the course of V.K. Monyukov.
