Vsevolod Shilovsky

Actor, theater and film director, teacher. Merited Artist of the RSFSR (12/22/1980). People's Artist of the RSFSR (12/24/1986). From childhood he dreamed of becoming an artist, worked in a drama circle and studio at the House of Teachers. In 1956-1957 he worked as a mechanic at the Moscow machine-tool plant "Salyut". He graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School (1961, course of A. M. Karev). In the years 1961-1990 - actor and director of the Moscow Art Theater. At the same time, he began teaching at the Moscow Art Theater School and made his debut as a director, staging a play with the students of Jean Anuay's “Medea”.
