Movie Psycho Killer (2026)

Story

After her husband is brutally murdered, a Kansas highway patrol officer begins a relentless search for the person responsible. What starts as a personal pursuit gradually draws her toward a far more disturbing truth: the killer is a sadistic serial offender whose psychological depravity reaches well beyond the crime itself. As the investigation advances, she must confront a sinister agenda and the danger surrounding every step of the hunt.

Blending detective drama, crime and horror, Psycho Killer builds its tension around grief, obsession and the pursuit of justice. The story keeps the officer close to the investigation while the killer's true intentions cast an increasingly dark shadow over her search.

Overview

Directed by Gavin Polon, this Germany and United States co-production places a determined law-enforcement officer at the center of a grim criminal investigation. The film moves between procedural mystery and psychological horror, using the search for a murderer to explore the unsettling nature of violence and the hidden motives behind it.

Its atmosphere grows darker as the case reveals a threat that appears calculated, cruel and deeply personal. Viewers drawn to detective stories with horror elements will find a narrative shaped by pursuit, escalating danger and the disturbing question of how far a killer's plan may extend.
