Movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026)

Story

Peter Parker fights crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that no longer remembers him. Watching his old friends move on without him adds a pressure that begins to change Peter in ways he may not have the power to control.

At the same time, a shocking new threat emerges in the city: a powerful villain no one can even see. The danger reaches the people Peter loves, and the very transformation that troubles him may also turn out to be the one thing capable of stopping this invisible menace.

Overview

Spider-Man: Brand New Day combines superhero action, science-fiction ideas and adventure with a more personal story about memory, isolation and the cost of living behind a public symbol. The film follows Peter through a period of uncertainty, where the responsibilities of Spider-Man give him purpose while making ordinary human connections harder to sustain.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the American production sets its large-scale conflict against the emotional pressure of Peter Parker’s new reality. The unseen nature of the central villain adds an element of mystery to the action, keeping the focus on perception, trust and the limits of Peter’s control. The challenge he faces threatens both the city and the people he still loves.

Cast and Characters

Tom Holland leads the cast as Peter Parker, the young hero balancing relentless crime-fighting with the consequences of being forgotten. Zendaya, Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal and Jacob Batalon appear alongside him in the ensemble.

The story centers on Peter’s strained connection with his former friends, the people he is determined to protect, and a formidable adversary whose presence cannot be easily detected. Together, these figures frame a conflict that tests Spider-Man’s judgment, resilience and sense of self.
