Movie Hijack 1971 (2024)

Story

Pilots Tae-in and Gyu-sik are preparing to fly a passenger aircraft toward Gimpo, while flight attendant Ok-soon helps guide travelers through the boarding process. Soon after takeoff, a homemade bomb detonates inside the cabin. The sudden blast throws the flight into chaos and puts the crew and passengers into a rapidly escalating crisis at high altitude. With the aircraft already in the air and danger unfolding in a confined space, every decision carries immediate consequences.

The story stays focused on the tense atmosphere inside the plane, where fear spreads quickly and the passengers must rely on the people responsible for their safety. The contrast between the routine of boarding and the disorder that follows the explosion gives the opening a sharp change of pace.
