An American animated television series based on the 1994 film the Lion King. Son of Simba, and Prince of the Pridelands, Kion takes centre stage as he is gifted with the Roar. He becomes leader of the "Lion Guard", a group of animals that must protect the Pridelands and defend the Circle of Life. This adorable series follows the young Prince and his new friends Bunga the honey badger, Beshte the hippopotamus, Fuli the cheetah and Ono the egret, as they navigate life on the African plains. With the return some of the famous original characters such as Simba and Nala, as well as some infamous characters such as Scar, this follow on series is the perfect combination of old and new Disney.
