Oleg Stefan
Oleg Stefanov (the theatrical pseudonym - Oleg Stefan) - Ukrainian actor, teacher, winner of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine (2006). Graduated from Kharkiv State Institute of Arts named after Ivan Kotlyarevsky in 1989 (course by Alexander Bilyatsky). In 1987-1990 and 1991-1996 he worked at the Kharkiv Academic Drama Theater named after Taras Shevchenko. In 1995-1996 he taught at the Ivan Kotlyarevsky Art Institute in Kharkiv. In 1990-1991 and from 1996 to this time - actor of the Lviv Academic Theater named after Les Kurbas. He taught in 1998-1999 at a studio at the theater named after Les Kurbas. In July 1991, as part of the Slavic Pilgrim project, he was trained at the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski (Pontedera, Italy) In 2005-2009 - Associate Professor of the Department of Theater Studies and Acting at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. From 2012 to 12017 he is artistic director of acting at the Faculty of Culture and Arts of Lviv Ivan Franko National University. He is a frequent participant of international theatrical festivals in Ukraine, Italy, Moldova, Macedonia, Romania, Poland, Germany, Egypt.
