Story
Cam Cameron Cade has built his life around football, until a devastating brain injury threatens to end his career before it reaches its highest point. His chance to recover arrives from an unexpected source: Isaiah White, an eight-time championship quarterback and one of the most recognizable figures in American sports. Isaiah invites Cam to train at his secluded compound, where he lives with his celebrity influencer wife.
The private retreat offers Cam a rare opportunity to rebuild his strength under the guidance of the player he has always admired. As the demanding training intensifies, however, Isaiah's magnetic public persona begins to reveal a far more disturbing side. Cam must navigate the pressure of his comeback while questioning the intentions of the man who may hold the key to his future.
Overview
Directed by Justin Tipping, HIM combines detective elements with psychological horror and the high-pressure world of professional football. The film places ambition, celebrity worship, physical discipline, and hidden power dynamics inside an isolated setting, creating an atmosphere where mentorship gradually becomes a source of unease.
Set against the culture surrounding a legendary athlete, the story explores how easily admiration can cloud judgment. A promising recovery takes Cam into a closed world shaped by influence, control, and carefully maintained appearances. The sports drama framework gives the horror a grounded edge, while the secluded compound keeps the tension personal and increasingly difficult to escape.
