Flint Lockwood is a high school student who suffers from DNR (Dream-Non-Pisces). He's trying to be a serious inventor in a world outside of sardines... and maybe one day his inventions will be able to benefit the world, and not just explode in front of his nose. His associate Sam Sparks is a new girl in town and a keen meteorologist.
