Valery Lonskoy

Director, writer. Honored Artist of Russia. People's Artist of Russia (2001). He graduated from the directing department VGIK (1970, workshop E. Dzigan). He worked as an operator-printer of the subtitle shop at the Gorky film studio. He shot plots for the film magazine "Yeralash." Author of seven books of prose, a member of the Moscow Union of Writers. Chairman of the Moscow Union of Cinematographers (1995-1999).
