Richard Brener
Richard Brener is President & Chief Creative Officer of New Line Cinema. In this role, he oversees all aspects of development and production for New Line's film slate. During his tenure, Brener has supervised and served as Executive Producer on many of the company's most successful films, including global blockbusters "Shazam!," "San Andreas," "Central Intelligence," "Lights Out," "We're the Millers ," "Horrible Bosses," "Sex and the City," "Wedding Crashers" and "Austin Powers in Goldmember." He has also guided the top two horror franchises in history: "The Conjuring" universe, composed of "The Conjuring," "The Conjuring 2," "Annabelle," "Annabelle: Creation," "Annabelle Comes Home," "The Nun " and the upcoming "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It"; and the record-breaking two-film adaptation of Stephen King's iconic horror novel "IT." "The Conjuring" and "IT" film series are the only two theatrical horror franchises to surpass the billion-dollar benchmark.
