Story
Mort receives devastating news: he has less than a year to live. Soon afterward his fiancée, Nicole, leaves him, and he is forced to accept his fate. Searching for a way to move forward, Mort joins an unusual dating service that matches people by their expected dates of death.
Through the service he meets Kate, and the two begin to grow close with the clock ticking in the background. Mort also finds himself stalked by a deranged pimp, which adds menace to an already precarious situation. The result is a darkly comic romantic story shaped by mortality, fear, and the chance of finding companionship in an unlikely place.
