Movie One More Shot (2023)
Story
After an attack on a covert black site in Poland, Navy SEAL Jake Harris receives a high-risk assignment: escort terrorist suspect Amin Mansur to Washington, D.C., where he is due to face questioning. The transfer has barely begun when a group of heavily armed, well-trained mercenaries strikes the airport. With the prisoner in his custody, Harris has to deal with a rapidly escalating assault while trying to keep the mission on track.
The story unfolds under intense time pressure, placing military discipline, tactical judgment and survival instincts at the center of the action. The airport becomes a dangerous battleground, and a routine escort operation turns into a fight to see the transfer through. The tone is direct and hard-edged, with tension driven by the high-stakes mission and the organized force working against it.
Overview
One More Shot is a British action thriller that combines the pace of an action film with the confined pressure of a siege story. Its premise keeps the focus close to the mission: a Navy SEAL, a terrorism suspect in transit, and a coordinated assault that threatens to derail the operation before it reaches its destination. The airport setting gives the story an immediate, practical quality, while the military backdrop adds a sense of procedure and danger.
The film is built around tactical resistance and decisions made under fire rather than long explanations. Viewers can expect a concentrated, fast-moving thriller shaped by close-quarters danger, armed opposition and a steadily tightening sense of urgency. It is best suited to audiences who enjoy action cinema with a military flavor and a clearly defined, high-pressure situation.
Cast and Characters
The cast is led by Michael Jai White and Scott Adkins, two familiar names in modern action cinema, and also includes Tom Berenger, Alexis Knapp and Hannah Arterton.
The story centers on Navy SEAL Jake Harris, who is responsible for the prisoner transfer, and Amin Mansur, the terrorist suspect at the heart of the mission. Around them, the attacking mercenaries create a constant external threat that keeps the pressure on throughout the film.
