Movie Monkey Man (2024)
Story
Known only as Kid, a young man survives on the margins of a sprawling city by entering an underground fight club. Wearing a gorilla mask, he allows more celebrated fighters to beat him night after night, collecting whatever money the brutal matches provide. Beneath the spectacle, he carries years of grief and suppressed anger.
When Kid finds a way into the guarded world of the city’s powerful elite, he begins a dangerous journey toward the people connected to the losses that shaped his life. His scarred hands and hard-earned instincts drive a fierce campaign of retribution, while childhood trauma continues to influence every choice. The film combines close-quarters combat, criminal intrigue, and a tense portrait of a man fighting to reclaim control over his own story.
