In 1984, he graduated from the Faculty of Automation and Computer Engineering of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MEI) and until 1988 worked as a programmer at the Research Institute. In 1980 he created with his comrades an amateur "Theater on the Embankment", conceived as a creative community of children and adults, in which he is the artistic director, director, teacher and author of the plays. In 1994, on the basis of the theater, a state institution of additional education was opened - the Center for Children's Art "Theater on the Embankment". In 1980 he made his film debut, playing a major role in E. Urazbaev’s film “Look in both ways”; then other roles followed. In 1982 he was invited by S.Gerasimov to his course at VGIK as a free listener in recognition of the successful role of Alexey Peshkov in the educational work of the students of the course MM. Khutsiev "My Universities" (1981). In VGIKE, he studied in parallel with the MEI until the death of the master, who also played the young Gorky in his latest film, Leo Tolstoy (1984).
