Story
Vincent is a truck driver whose day on the road changes when he picks up a young pregnant woman. She soon shows an unstable temper and an automatic pistol. She orders him to keep driving without stopping, and she warns him that when the fuel runs out, she will kill him.
Trapped in the cab of his own truck, Vincent has to keep moving under threat, with the end of the fuel as a constant deadline. Trente-sept builds its drama around confinement, fear and the fragile balance of power between two strangers.
Overview
Directed by Arthur Môlard, this 2024 French drama and thriller turns an ordinary encounter on the road into a tightly focused test of nerve. The enclosed space of the truck gives the story a sustained sense of danger. The armed, unpredictable passenger keeps the outcome uncertain.
The premise is simple: a driver, a passenger with a gun, and a road that cannot be left. The film draws its tension from urgency, vulnerability and psychological pressure. It is a stark, character-focused thriller for viewers who like confined, suspenseful stories.

The cast is led by Christophe Vandevelde and Clémentine Amouroux. The story centers on two characters: Vincent, the truck driver caught in a dangerous journey, and the young pregnant woman whose volatile behavior and firearm turn the encounter into a fight for control.
